Style Favorites: Maternity Edition

I'm currently 7 weeks postpartum and cleared to start getting back to "normal" activity. It seems like enough time to have had a look at what I wore during my pregnancy and to know what I really liked and what didn't work for me.  I showed really late, I was probably around 25-26 weeks before I had a bump that took me out of my normal clothes and even then I was still fairly small. Because of that I didn't really invest in maternity clothing. By the time I got to the point where things didn't fit or I didn't like how they fit I was less than 10 weeks from my due date. That said, we had 3 weddings to attend this year and my baby shower. I also worked until I went into labor, which was luckily a Sunday, so I did have to dress myself until the end. It's highly probable that you don't know that I'm a pretty big Kesha fan. I own her first two albums; I've continued to have them on my ipod/phone since they came out; at one time I had her song Crazy Beautiful Life as my ringtone on my Blackberry (in case you needed some reference for how long ago this was). I got Tik Tok as a free video download on iTunes when I used to get like every one that came out. I found a lot of great music that way though realistically. Anyways, unless you've been under a rock for the last 2-3 years (i'm guessing) it came out that Kesha was involved in a huge lawsuit against her then producer which has kept her from making music for the last 5 YEARS her last album came out in 2012.
Well I don't know what changed recently I'm assuming Sony, the company that own her label, came to an agreement after all of the press that her case got and allowed her to work with a new producer because... WE'VE GOT NEW KESHA! This makes me really happy because I genuinely enjoy her music. It's fun and carefree and I like that. But also she's been through a shit storm to get this album out and I love that she's come out on the other side so incase you haven't heard them yet go give yourself a listen to Praying and Woman cause they're both good and lyrically show a lot of strength for someone who's been through any trying time and isn't letting it get them down or bitter.
