Style Favorites: Maternity Edition

I'm currently 7 weeks postpartum and cleared to start getting back to "normal" activity. It seems like enough time to have had a look at what I wore during my pregnancy and to know what I really liked and what didn't work for me.  I showed really late, I was probably around 25-26 weeks before I had a bump that took me out of my normal clothes and even then I was still fairly small. Because of that I didn't really invest in maternity clothing. By the time I got to the point where things didn't fit or I didn't like how they fit I was less than 10 weeks from my due date. That said, we had 3 weddings to attend this year and my baby shower. I also worked until I went into labor, which was luckily a Sunday, so I did have to dress myself until the end. Another disclaimer, I was able to have a relaxed wardrobe for work which also kept me from buying more maternity wear and using what I had in my closet. A Month in Review

So at the beginning of the month I had a disappointing incident befall me. Another Mac charger died. I think this is my 3rd or 4th in almost 4 years. Really annoying really expensive and also making it harder to keep up with my regular laptop related activities. But my senior collection has been getting finalized and I've recently finished up the majority of my patterning and draping so that's been moving a long. So that's that, I've been busy and my laptops spent most of this month unused. But my main reason for this post is to catch up on those "reviews" I said I would do...

First the Lumene Day Radiance Cream, I have really been loving this! I have definitely notice that my skin is well moisturized all day which is really nice for the winter. Keeping more sensitive skin from getting chapped can be difficult. I like it so much I think I'll pick up the night cream as well. I haven't finished my mini pot yet but I'm considering getting the full pot. It might be too heavy for warmer months but right now my skin is moisturized and really looks bright! If you suffer from dry skin I'd definitely try this out.

Second those Baby Lips, I haven't actually used both of them that much, I've primarily used the Dr. Recover medicated one and I like it. I'm not really overwhelmed or in love with it but they're nice for tinted lip balms. I usually like Burt's Bees primarily as a lip balm but this is a nice alternative when you're trying to keep things moisturized for a casual night out. Also I got a grape colored one and it smells like grape too which is a fun addition.

I'm on the hunt for a new pair of headphones as well right now as I'll be spending a lot of late nights around other people that I'll probably want to tune out and when I ultimately make my choice I'll let you guys know how I like them!
