Style Favorites: Maternity Edition

I'm currently 7 weeks postpartum and cleared to start getting back to "normal" activity. It seems like enough time to have had a look at what I wore during my pregnancy and to know what I really liked and what didn't work for me.  I showed really late, I was probably around 25-26 weeks before I had a bump that took me out of my normal clothes and even then I was still fairly small. Because of that I didn't really invest in maternity clothing. By the time I got to the point where things didn't fit or I didn't like how they fit I was less than 10 weeks from my due date. That said, we had 3 weddings to attend this year and my baby shower. I also worked until I went into labor, which was luckily a Sunday, so I did have to dress myself until the end. A New Platform

So today after finishing classes I hung around the area near the building for a few hours and took an impromptu trip over to Urban Outfitters, for a change of scenery and maybe some inspiration for my collection. While I wasn't feeling super inspired I did happen upon a really cute pair of platforms. In the sale section where I was perusing I spotted some all white platform shoes by Deena and Ozzy and immediately needed them. They also remind me of a pair from DressLink that I wanted to get for my models in the fashion show. Since my last excursion with purchasing from china led me to too small shoes (also platforms that I squeeze my feet into) I decided this was the safer (and ultimately cheaper) choice for the moment. I still might snag a pair for myself when I ultimately do (or don't) order them for my collection but these baby's will certainly tide me over.
