Style Favorites: Maternity Edition

I'm currently 7 weeks postpartum and cleared to start getting back to "normal" activity. It seems like enough time to have had a look at what I wore during my pregnancy and to know what I really liked and what didn't work for me.  I showed really late, I was probably around 25-26 weeks before I had a bump that took me out of my normal clothes and even then I was still fairly small. Because of that I didn't really invest in maternity clothing. By the time I got to the point where things didn't fit or I didn't like how they fit I was less than 10 weeks from my due date. 90s Daze

Tuesday was my last day on vacation we did a little dolphin watching in the ocean and enjoyed the last bits of surf and sun before heading home. I picked up this funny retro style souvenir shirt on Sunday and shamelessly wore it out to see the dolphins. I paired it with my light wash distressed denim jacket from H&M that I've been loving and a front button a-line cotton 90s style floral skirt also from H&M. The combo made me feel appropriately unapologetically retro. Bottomed out with my Doc Martens, I think they're the shorditch style or something, in black velvet. Accessorized with my Forever 21 reflective sunnies which I'm also obsessed with and a vintage straw bag that I love for summer especially the beach. All in all it was a lovely weekend that has actually really encouraged me to get back to the blog and my future so a weekend well spent in the sun!
