Style Favorites: Maternity Edition

I'm currently 7 weeks postpartum and cleared to start getting back to "normal" activity. It seems like enough time to have had a look at what I wore during my pregnancy and to know what I really liked and what didn't work for me.  I showed really late, I was probably around 25-26 weeks before I had a bump that took me out of my normal clothes and even then I was still fairly small. Because of that I didn't really invest in maternity clothing. By the time I got to the point where things didn't fit or I didn't like how they fit I was less than 10 weeks from my due date. That said, we had 3 weddings to attend this year and my baby shower. I also worked until I went into labor, which was luckily a Sunday, so I did have to dress myself until the end. Another disclaimer, I was able to have a relaxed wardrobe for work which also kept me from buying more maternity wear and using what I had in my closet. In the ThunderSnow


Okay, confession, I didn't really wear this during the ThunderSnow situation that was happening yesterday but mainly because that happened pretty early in the day and we didn't hear much from it later and I wore this out later in the day. But yes I totally wore this to Bed Bath and Beyond, Pet Valu and the grocery store. So yes this was a total errand running outfit for me but after being stuck in pants and long sleeves and BLACK for months since my errand running time isn't ample I just wanted something fun to wear out! I wanted to break free from the (chains) pants/leggings that are running my life at the moment and brought back this little flowered skirt from H&M and threw it over my HeatTech tights from Uniqlo. I layered up my cashmere sweater and Ultra Light Down also from Uniqlo (can you tell I work there???) to keep me a little cozy. I wore my platform zip-up shoes which I love even thought they don't really fit. A girl that worked at the grocery store asked where they were from and I couldn't remember but I have now remembered it was LovelyWholesale. I have a black and sliver patterny thing scrunchie from Topshop which you can kind of see in the last pic but it wasn't a serious one so I didn't care that it was blury buuuuuuut then I decided to use it so, whoops! Any ways I hope you're all having the best thanksgiving and remembering everything you have to be thankful for! One thing I'm thankful for is currently sleeping on my legs right now, still love 'im though.

ps. Sorry it's been so long! I have a post I've been trying to get up for weeks but it just hasn't been working out! I'm also thinking about doing some like YouTube stuff cause I love watching hauls and get ready with mes and things so I've been trying some new things, working and lovin on my pup. Hopefully I start getting some regularity happening soon!!
