Style Favorites: Maternity Edition

I'm currently 7 weeks postpartum and cleared to start getting back to "normal" activity. It seems like enough time to have had a look at what I wore during my pregnancy and to know what I really liked and what didn't work for me.  I showed really late, I was probably around 25-26 weeks before I had a bump that took me out of my normal clothes and even then I was still fairly small. Because of that I didn't really invest in maternity clothing. By the time I got to the point where things didn't fit or I didn't like how they fit I was less than 10 weeks from my due date. That said, we had 3 weddings to attend this year and my baby shower. I also worked until I went into labor, which was luckily a Sunday, so I did have to dress myself until the end. Youth In Trouble

I have been shopping a lot recently. In some respects much to my own dismay. But mostly pleasure as I've just been surrounded by stuff I really like recently! I, unfortunately for my wallet, work in a mall. I myself have stated that I shouldn't work in a mall, simply because I want to buy ALL the things. It's seriously hard to stop myself. Especially with my employee discount it just makes it all sound better.
Well I've been at work eying up a few things in the Kids section. Yes, I said kids. Yes, there's stuff that will fit me. I can fit tops especially if they're short sleeved. The bigger kids sizes are sized for kids that are basically my size so why not if it's cute! I recently picked up faux shearling sweatpants from the kids section, they're awesome and I wear them when I walk my pup these days.

But as the main point of this post I picked up this rad Andy Warhol skull sketch sweatshirt from the SPRZ NY Uniqlo collection. I'm seriously obsessed with it. I've been checking the shelves for weeks to see if they had a size big enough for me. They finally restocked and I snatched it right up! I just really wanted to share this fun sweatshirt and show how I'd style it since it is kids clothing and a little unconventional.
