Style Favorites: Maternity Edition

I'm currently 7 weeks postpartum and cleared to start getting back to "normal" activity. It seems like enough time to have had a look at what I wore during my pregnancy and to know what I really liked and what didn't work for me.  I showed really late, I was probably around 25-26 weeks before I had a bump that took me out of my normal clothes and even then I was still fairly small. Because of that I didn't really invest in maternity clothing. By the time I got to the point where things didn't fit or I didn't like how they fit I was less than 10 weeks from my due date. That said, we had 3 weddings to attend this year and my baby shower. I also worked until I went into labor, which was luckily a Sunday, so I did have to dress myself until the end. Another disclaimer, I was able to have a relaxed wardrobe for work which also kept me from buying more maternity wear and using what I had in my closet. All around champ: Stay Hydrated

I don't think I've mentioned it yet here but there is a current favorite, love, savior, Holy Grail product (ingredient) in my, and possibly beauty and skin care at large, life. Hylauronic Acid is definitely a buzz ingredient right now and can be found in TONS of products. Although I have every intention of making a current skincare favorites/routine video ASAP i wanted to take a minute to give a shout out to Hylauronic Acid on its own. I currently have a "pure" (read relatively unaltered no additve) Hylauronic Acid serum that I purchase off Amazon and it has no joke changed the game for me. It makes my skin bright, any forehead furrows disappear, and it stays hydrated on its own without moisturizer. Although I almost always use moisturizer after I use it. I honestly would recommend adding pure Hylauronic Acid to any skin care regime. I also have a Hydro Boost lip treatment and foundation from Neutrogena both featuring Hylauronic Acid and they do a great job at keeping the moisture in my skin. I would also recommend the Neutrogena lip treatment to people with chronic dry lips like me. The foundation is lovely but if you get oily I would t recommend it. Anyways Ill be going more in depth with my routine later but wanted to let you know about this guy. It's definitely one of the best changes in my skincare period.
