Style Favorites: Maternity Edition

I'm currently 7 weeks postpartum and cleared to start getting back to "normal" activity. It seems like enough time to have had a look at what I wore during my pregnancy and to know what I really liked and what didn't work for me.  I showed really late, I was probably around 25-26 weeks before I had a bump that took me out of my normal clothes and even then I was still fairly small. Because of that I didn't really invest in maternity clothing. By the time I got to the point where things didn't fit or I didn't like how they fit I was less than 10 weeks from my due date. That said, we had 3 weddings to attend this year and my baby shower. I also worked until I went into labor, which was luckily a Sunday, so I did have to dress myself until the end. Another disclaimer, I was able to have a relaxed wardrobe for work which also kept me from buying more maternity wear and using what I had in my closet. Skin Deep: Beauty Pie

I’m back! As promised I’m filling you all in on my new products from Beauty Pie! After seeing an Instagram ad (yes they work on me!) I popped in to their site. Beauty Pie is sort of like a subscription to discounted luxury products.

Yeah, I know it sounds awesome. From what I can tell so far it just might be! The products I picked out were the Super Healthy Hair Intensive Repair Treatment, Superdrops High Intensity Hydration, Uber Youth Super Serum, and the perfume and foundation sampler in dark.

So I was most excited for the superdrops and Uber youth serum. Lately I’ve been STRESSING over the state of my skin! Possibly because I’ve been fussing with it and my schedule keeps changing up on weekends and things so it’s not super consistent. I’ve started using the two serums this weekend and I already love them! I noticed my fine lines on my forehead and under my eyes have looked not as noticeable already. I’ve been using the Uber youth serum before the superdrops and have noticed some debris which I’m not sure if it’s micro peel or the two serums rubbing off from the order but I plan on trying the opposite order to see if that helps any. I’ve also realized that I have had some hyperpigmentation lightening up a bit as well. It’s not super noticeable yet but I’m optimistic!

The perfume was alright I’m partial to the red apple, white peony, cashmere wood scent out of the three and have yet to try out the foundation. I’m currently trying out the repair treatment which reminds me a bit of the It’s a 10 Keratin Deep Conditioner. It definitely left my hair feeling nice and soft especially since I’ve put my hair through the ringer a bit lately!

In any case I’ve been loving it and wanted to share it all! Let me know if you’ve tried Beauty Pie!
xD
