Style Favorites: Maternity Edition

I'm currently 7 weeks postpartum and cleared to start getting back to "normal" activity. It seems like enough time to have had a look at what I wore during my pregnancy and to know what I really liked and what didn't work for me.  I showed really late, I was probably around 25-26 weeks before I had a bump that took me out of my normal clothes and even then I was still fairly small. Because of that I didn't really invest in maternity clothing. By the time I got to the point where things didn't fit or I didn't like how they fit I was less than 10 weeks from my due date. That said, we had 3 weddings to attend this year and my baby shower. I also worked until I went into labor, which was luckily a Sunday, so I did have to dress myself until the end. Curvaceous Trials

So while I'm at school I don't have that much access to that many hair products. Since I only cut my hair about a year ago I'm still experimenting to figure out what works best for it and winter is definitely not my friend. But I've been looking for a sort of keratin treatment as well as a deep conditioner I can do once a week. I haven't found a deep conditioner yet so if anyone knows a good one for natural hair let a girl know!! But while I was perusing some of the hair products at CVS I think this past weekend I stumbled across the Sally Hershberger Curvaceous Curl Perfection treatment. It's got Keratin as well as Chamomile, silk proteins and UV absorbers. It's color safe and a heat protectant so this product's really working overtime. The few times I've used it (obviously given the photo) it's really helped noticably define my larger curls and I think I can notice some on the smaller ones. Although I know this isn't specifically for "natural" hair it does make a difference on my hair and I do notice it feeling a bit softer in combination with some products more than others. I like this so far but I'll let you know if I use it up.
