Style Favorites: Maternity Edition

I'm currently 7 weeks postpartum and cleared to start getting back to "normal" activity. It seems like enough time to have had a look at what I wore during my pregnancy and to know what I really liked and what didn't work for me.  I showed really late, I was probably around 25-26 weeks before I had a bump that took me out of my normal clothes and even then I was still fairly small. Because of that I didn't really invest in maternity clothing. By the time I got to the point where things didn't fit or I didn't like how they fit I was less than 10 weeks from my due date. That said, we had 3 weddings to attend this year and my baby shower. I also worked until I went into labor, which was luckily a Sunday, so I did have to dress myself until the end. Another disclaimer, I was able to have a relaxed wardrobe for work which also kept me from buying more maternity wear and using what I had in my closet. UO GRRL



So the building most of my classes are in at school happens to be about 2 minutes from the "city"'s only Urban Outfitters. I'm from Philadelphia where Urban Outfitters started so, yes, for me this is weird. I can't even say there are tons around Philly but there's definitely more than one. But anyways, because of my close proximity I like to sneak in there when I'm feeling bored or in need of a break. Well they were recently doing one of those special Sale-on-Sales so naturally I hung around after class and popped in. I've been waiting patiently for Sky Ferreira's album on Vinyl and... !!!!! they had it!!!! I thought she was only selling it online through her web store but they apparently have it "exclusively". It wasn't on sale but I'd really been wanting it so I jumped. I got a bit off of it but since I've been wanting it I bought it shamelessly. I also picked up a cute pair of all black platform ankle boots with some side cut outs and a pair of glitter black velvet leggings, DYING!!! Just a quick shopping update hope your spring breaks are warmer and more relaxed than mine!
