Nugget

Last weekend I got a very very special delivery that I wasn't around to accept. Luckily the rents picked it up for me and I got it when I got home from work. You may know that I've been looking to adopt a dog all summer. There was one dog I was supposed to meet but right before the meet was scheduled I stopped hearing from the foster parent. The dog did have some existing health problems so I was afraid that was the cause. After three unanswered attempts to contact the foster parent I decided to move on. I spent the rest of the summer being rather unsuccessful and getting dismayed. After getting my new job about a month ago things started to look up and at long last my little nugget Tyson arrived!!!
In short my life has changed a lot in the last few months and the only sad thing is I don't get to hang out with my nugget all the time. But I'm totally enjoying everything right now! I have a super long shopping list of stuff from work and a few other places so that will probably be happening soon! I'm on the hunt for a black fuzzy cardigan to replace the one I ruined from last year but still totally wear and I'm wearing it right now. But anyways wanted to share a few pics of my nugget I have a shopping list for him too so I'll share those when I make the choices. So here's my little man!! XX

He's the happiest friendliest snuggliest little guy and I'm so lucky he's mine. As he's a rescue he got a second chance at life from a shelter in New York and then the woman who runs the rescue I adopted him from. I am so lucky he got those chances because he really is a true lover. If you have the chance in your life to adopt a rescue dog I highly encourage it, when you realize that your new buddy was given a second chance and has become such a bright part of your life, I for one have an even greater appreciation for animal rescue now.
